These terms apply to all gardening work carried out by us. By instructing us to carry out work, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless stated otherwise. Quotes are based on what we can see and reach at the time of the visit. If unforeseen issues arise once work begins (buried tree roots, hidden hard standing, dangerous overhead cables) we will stop, talk to you, and provide a revised quote before continuing.
Estimates are our best guess at the likely cost and may vary with the actual work. Fixed-price quotes will not change unless the scope of work changes.
Hard landscaping (decking, fencing, paths, patios) carries a 12-month workmanship guarantee from completion. For planting, we guarantee anything we plant for the first growing season — provided you water it as we instruct.
The guarantee does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, frost or storm damage, alterations by others, wear and tear, or acts of God.
For jobs under £500, payment is due on completion. For larger jobs we may request a 25% deposit with the balance payable on completion. Maintenance contracts are paid by standing order monthly. Invoices are due within 7 days of issue.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a booked visit, please give us at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may attract a £40 charge to cover our lost time.
You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the garden. If we are unable to access the site at the agreed time, we reserve the right to charge a call-out fee. Please move valuables, garden ornaments and pets away from the work area.
We hold a waste carrier's licence and dispose of all green waste responsibly. The cost of waste removal is included in the quoted price unless stated otherwise.
We carry £5 million public liability insurance. Our liability to you for any claim arising from our work is limited to the cost of the work carried out, except in cases of death or personal injury caused by negligence.
If you are unhappy with any aspect of our work, please tell us as soon as possible so we can put it right. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
